1. Who is the data controller?

The data controller is ELPASO BOHEMIA s.r.o., Company Registration Number 041 83 916, with its registered office at Varšavská 715/36, Vinohrady, 120 00 Prague 2 (hereinafter „we“). We provide accommodation in Štúrovo in cooperation with the company VADAŠ s.r.o., Štúrovo, to whom we pass on the details from the booking in order to arrange accommodation. 2. What data do we process and why?

(a) Binding booking

In the form, please provide your first name and surname, email address, telephone number, address (if applicable), preferred dates, type of accommodation, number of people and any comments. We will use this information to process your booking, communicate with you, confirm your booking and organise your stay.

Legal basis: performance of the contract and negotiations regarding its conclusion at your request (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR); accounting and tax obligations (point (c)). You expressly confirm your consent in the form.

b) Communication by email and telephone

If you contact us, we will use the information you provide to deal with your enquiry (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

(c) Website traffic statistics and cookies

We only use Google tools (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4) to measure website traffic with your consent, which you provide via the cookie banner. These tools provide us with an overview of which pages are viewed and whether visitors complete their orders. Without your consent, these tools do not set cookies or identify you. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time via the cookie settings.

(d) Embedded videos

The Gallery page features videos from YouTube and Vimeo. When you play these videos, the provider may process your data in accordance with its own policies. [ADD after editing the gallery: videos only load once you click on them / once you’ve given your consent]

3. To whom we disclose data

• VADAŠ s.r.o., Štúrovo – accommodation provider [VERIFY]
• Active24 / WebSupport, a web hosting and email provider (data processor)
• Google Ireland Ltd. – website traffic measurement, only with your consent; data may be transferred to the US on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework)

We do not pass on data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How long we retain data

We retain the data from the booking for the period necessary to process the stay and thereafter [TO BE ADDED, e.g. 3 years from the end of the stay, to allow for any potential claims]. We retain accounting documents for the period specified by law (usually 10 years). Data from cookies is retained for the duration specified in the Cookie Policy.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified, erased or restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing prior to its withdrawal. You may exercise your rights by emailing sturovo@sturovo.cz.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.

6. Security and changes

The website operates over a secure connection (HTTPS) and only authorised personnel have access to data submitted via the forms. We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page.
